it’s your friend oly here to talk about tags

here are some tags i use for organization

• important info about myself
• all you could ever need to know about my gender
• pictures of myself (f/m/drawings)
• videos of myself
• my city
• goodlookin’ persons
• food
• music
• [my] art
• i also tag #oly watches _____ (ex. supernatural, mushishi…) and #oly plays ______ (ex. pokemon (“pokes” in this case)) if you’re interested

that about covers it for broad blogging topics

now, as i’m sure you’ve come to realize, that isn’t the only use for tags. tumblrsavior is a really need userscript that allows people to block certain words or phrases from their dashboards, and a lot of people (including my friends and i) use it to save ourselves from potentially upsetting images/ topics/ etc.

these are the things that i personally have blocked:

• “porn”
• #nsfw
• #nudity
• p much any variation of the word “vagina”
• #drug
• “tranny”
• “incest” (i also block dersecest, prospitcest, and stridercest so heads up if you like that stuff)

i tag pretty basic triggers/ upsetting content, but to be safe i’ll list them for you:

• #tw rape
• #ganon don’t look; this covers pretty much anything having to do with what i’m “into”. like if i’m talking about how much i wanna make out with someone i’ll use this tag. it’s mostly for a friend but if you don’t want to hear about it go right ahead and use it.
• #nsfw and #nudity )the former used more for talking about sex and my body and stuff, usually under a read more with an added caution)
• #blood and #gore (the latter being used for more “intense” stuff, so to speak)
• #violence
• #eye gore and #body horror
• #cis-on-trans violence, #cissexism, #transphobia 
• #alcohol content (in case you just don’t like to hear about it)
• #slurs 
• #horses, #doges, #spiders, #bugs, #rats
• #jamie don’t look (exposed/emphasized throats)
• #epilepsy warning (for flashing/jumping gifs, i usually don’t tag really calm stuff but you need me to i won’t hesitate) and #multiple gifs (for photosets of gifs)
• #tw suicide, #tw self harm
• #school (any talk of grades, tests, classes, etc.)
• more than likely i’m not going to be posting something that’s on my own list but i might reblog art with nudity in it, in which case i’ll tag it appropriately (#nsfw and #nudity i lIKE COVERIN’ MY BASES)

a lot of these really aren’t used because i don’t like having a lot of negative stuff on my blog!! but i figure it’s better to be safe than sorry so if anything on this list makes you uncomfy go ahead and block it and we should be good and sage.
